We called Snyder on a Friday morning for a repair/installation visit and was pleasantly surprised to have someone available to come out later that morning. The technician, Kat Lindsey, arrived as scheduled. I explained what needed to be done and she got right to work. The fixture we needed installed however (new kitchen sink faucet) wouldn’t operate properly in spite of Kat’s efforts to get it to work. She was gracious enough to wait while I ran to the store to purchase a new fixture and installed it in quick order. She was obviously skilled at her profession, friendly, polite, and even tolerated our curious dachshund. We would definitely have her back for future work. Thanks for a great experience, Kat!

My bathrooms over flowed on new year eve, water everywhere including into my bedroom. I have a back problem so it took me almost 8 hours to clean up and then cleaned everything with bleach. Sewage was disgusting to clean up and boy did it stink. Snyder came out within an hour after I called. The technician was very nice and understanding. He was here about 3 hours clearing my drains. I didn't have the money to pay him when he was finished, so Snyder allowed me a couple of days to ask my kids to send me the money I needed to pay up. I thought that was very understanding, plus they are coming back next week to run a camera for free, to find out where the problem is so I can find the money to dig up my front yard and fix that problem next. It was a rough new years eve day,and happy the problem was resolved. Thanks Snyder

We had a constant dripping coming from behind the shower wall and the only access panel was a 9" square cutout in the adjacent bedroom closet back wall, which was virtually worthless in this situation. The water was affecting the items in the closet as well, so we had to act fast. Fast. Living here for about 14 years, I knew Snyder as a highly reputable company to call on, and so we did just that. They dispatched Trey Cassidy, who did an absolutely phenomenal job for us! He assessed and explained the extent of the issue, gave us two different ways of going about repairing it, and was meticulous in doing the repair. He is exceptional at what he does, and we already have plans to bring him back right after the new year to help us with replacing the faucet and spout on the master bathroom's deep tub. The gentlemen that installed the vacuums to get rid of the water leakage going all the way from the toilet upstairs into the ceiling downstairs was kind, respectful, and took the extra time to make sure we would not get mold from sitting water. This review doesn't really cover the repair itself. I had the work done, the work was fine, the leak was repaired. My main issue is with billing. I originally contacted Snyder about a leak I had noticed coming from a second floor bathroom. It was traced down to a faulty original tub installation - specifically the overflow. The way the tub was installed had cracked around the gasket needed to seal the overflow valve. The person who came out to my house told me, "We'll try for a repair that you'll have to pay for today. In the event that the repair doesn't work we'll credit you for the cost of the repair from the installation cost of a new tub." That seemed like a reasonable deal to me so I took it. Unfortunately the repair didn't work and I had to have a new tub installed. As can be guessed the whole, "we'll credit you for the cost of the repair against the tub replacement" never happened. TBF it isn't a crazy amount of money and I did call them up twice to have it corrected. Both times the Master Plumber or whoever wasn't available. The second lady I spoke with said she had transferred my request to billing or accounting and I would be credit within a few days - that never happened.

I had them come out because none of toilets were flushing. They came out I paid 250.00, they got it unclogged but the following day everything is clogged now worse sewage now coming back up into the tubs. Hurts paying that much to still not have indoor plumbing. Currently trying to find someone to truly fix the cause. Update called them, they offered to let me pay 100.00 for them to come back out, and maybe fix the issue with no promises of fixing the problem. AKA milking as much money as they can out of me. Unfortunate for a business that’s been around so long.

I called for service due to my kitchen sink and guest bathroom being clogged. Was offered a $4500 jetting service. I like most people don’t have $4500 for plumbing. They then offered $900 to snake. I of course declined then proceeded to take a look myself. As soon as I removed shower drain stopper i found 4 bandaids blocking drain then went to kitchen sink and snaked hair. This all took me 30 mins. I don’t know if all plumbing companies are a scam or just this one. Will never consider calling this company again

The rating has nothing to do with the Tech, but the company and how much they charge people for work to be done. I had to have a handle and cartridge replaced on my bath tub. Due to previous owner rigging it up , the screw had to be drilled out, which caused damage to the cartridge. The amount i had to pay to fix it was astronomical. I will never ever due business with this company ever again. I would not ever recommend this company to anyone. As for the tech he was very professional and polite. I feel sorry for the Techs that work for such a company as this one.

I meant to write this review last week, when I received the service, then life caught up, so here we go. I had a plumbing problem, and started calling all of the plumbers in town (its a small town) and all were either busy, only accept contact work, or did not want to do my job. So I started looking further out, and calling companies. Overall, the plumber was good and knowledgeable. However: was running behind on the 10am-2pm appointment window and I didn’t receive a call until 2:45 that they were going to be there in about a half hour. Luckily I didn’t have much going on that day. I laid out the 3 issues that were all in my master bath, figured they’d be relatively easy fixes. His and her sinks were having some minor leakage underneath, master toilet supply line had a minor leak, and master shower wasn’t getting hot like it used to. Immediately he said the sink issues were most likely the supply valves and needed to be replaced. Said that would be about $500, which seemed way more than I’d think. Next issue was just the supply line to the master toilet needed a better quality one. $65 for the new supply line. Then the shower cartridge needed to have a small manufacturer setting adjustment. He did that adjustment for free, but said a new cartridge and install would be $650 (I had just replaced it for $30 at Home Depot). Then pointed out that the p trap needed to be replaced, $200 for that. All said and done: $760 for a little over an hour of work. Kicker was that I noticed one of the sinks were still leaking that same evening. Called back the next day and was told it is probably just the faucet that needed to be replaced. I had already bought 2 new faucets just in case that was the issue so they’d be able to replace them for me. Was quoted $420 PER FAUCET to be installed. Must be some crazy labor charges since I was supplying the hardware. I thought that was outrageous, and installed them both myself in less than an hour. That’s what really fixed the leak issue. Nice people but just way overpriced in my opinion.

There was definitely some sticker shock, but the work was impressive. We didn't have to send our janitorial staff in after the work was completed because he left the space immaculate. We have very clean restrooms so him leaving it better than how he found it was outstanding!

My experience with Snyder Plumbing is truly the best experience I’ve ever had as a homeowner dealing with plumbing issues in 40 years of Home Ownership! The staff is extremely well trained, and very professional, who work hard to give you the best deal possible. Tony Bravo did the most thorough plumbing inspection (Which I highly recommend on older homes!), followed up by very knowledgeable repairs performed by Sam Marshall. Finally have new shut off valves that replaced rusted, stuck valves that caused unnoticeable slow drips behind that majorly damaged many of my cabinets! In addition, added access to shower controls that were not functioning properly by providing access through a closet. These are just a few of the problems which they provided remedies to. It feels good to know there are no more running toilets, dripping, showerheads, or slow leaking bathtubs or sinks. Everything was performed at a reasonable cost as a valued customer with the Snyder Family Plan. I would highly recommend this company to everyone with no reservations!

Snyder did amazing from the phone call to sending Randy to my house to handle my ac issues and boy oh boy do I have issues but I feel comfortable Snyder Air and Bryce have me on the correct path for better air quality, they installed a uv light and a starter pack for capacitor highly recommend.. This is additional from work done by Snyder on August 6, 2024. First, I’m thankful Snyder gave an immediate response after contacting them about my water heater yesterday. They sent a plumbing expert, Chris, to evaluate it and its condition was worse than expected. Chris was extremely thorough and knowledgeable about the condition and risks of not replacing this water heater. It was also 22 years in service. I thought I would have to wait a few days but Chris said it could be done today. Yep! I signed the bottom line with no regrets. Chris left for a bit and came back to the house with the new water heater and it took around two hours to get the job completed, with no setbacks. Chris cares about the customer and in watching him, he’s very thorough on each step in the project. Our conversations were great and I was very happy with the job when it was completed. Snyder is blessed to have this excellent plumber on their team. I’ll join the many who give five star reviews to Snyder ACPE. Having an entire system replacement, new duct work (along with new installation to come, all four of my engagements with Snyder representatives and technicians have been outstanding thus far. The team that worked on my house included the team leader Curtis, followed by Joe, Dominic and Kyle. They got the entire job to which they were assigned (removing and replacing the air intake and main HVAC system, along with tearing out and installing the duct work in the attic) completed same-day. We only had one glitch during the day that set things back a little but it was no fault of the team. Still have the installation to be installed but thus far it’s been a very good experience to work with Snyder. Along with Curtis and his crew, I do want to mention Forrest and Amy who both did initial inspections and helped plan the operation to fix the system. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. It was great to engage with service reps explain things clearly to you and listen closely to your questions - and the tech installers didn’t seem to mind being bugged in the middle of their work - just don’t do that too often! It was a good day and so far all systems running soundly and smoothly! I’m adding to a job two days later from Devin and Justin. Their work on the insulation and concern and respect for me as a customer was outstanding. I appreciate that they made me aware of their concerns in my attic- things that may need attention down the road. Appreciate all their support and effort.

We called Snyder to come out and give us an estimate on our broken pipe line in our 1946 home. Ronald came out within the time they told us. I called kind of late in the day around 2:30. He got here around 3:30. He was very knowledgeable and immediately got to work climbing under our house. He found the problem that the house flippers did not do right. We bought this house in 2016 and just a few weeks after we moved in our toilets backed up. It was a mess. They supposedly fixed it since their work was still under warranty. They just patched it up and now we have this problem. We appreciate Ronalds honesty explaining what he could do. Its a lot of work. They will be out next week to fix it the right way. I will be giving an update. Thank you, Ronald 😊 Ronald and his team came yesterday Wednesday May 29th At 8 o'clock and worked tirelessly in the heat. They immediately started cutting the concrete, went under the house and started working. Then digging out the drain line. Everything they did was professional. They worked constantly until late evening, cleaned up and returned Thursday the 30th of May at 8 and got to work finishing up the job until late evening. It was a lot of work in the heat. Outstanding Service and Honest Company! My kitchen sink was not draining and I was in desperate need of a plumber ASAP! My Property Manager went with Snyder and I’m grateful they did. Our technician, Randy G, was incredible and went above and beyond. The company responded quickly to our issue and sent Randy out promptly. He worked tirelessly on a Friday afternoon to repair a drain pipe leak that was causing water damage to our home. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

The technician (Joe Byrd) fixed a leak at the coupling at the outside water meter. On the scheduled day of service, I received a text saying that he was on his way, and he arrived shortly thereafter, at about 8:30am. He fixed the leak at the coupling and the issue was resolved, and then he left at approximately 9:30am. However, he charged me $1,500.00 for the job (a 1 hour job to repair a leak)! Originally he quoted $1,700 but then he reduced it down to $1,500. Due to the nature of the plumbing issue (a leak) and the urgency (and also to minimize inconvenience for my tenants who were already without water for a day, as the water had been shut off at the meter due to the leak), I didn't have much of a choice, and wasn't able to shop for competitive estimates, and ultimately had to accept the high fee. I've been a landlord for over 20 years, and have used the services of many plumbers over the years. Never have I been charged so much for so little time! I will not be using Snyder in the future. Please be aware. Their work is fine and he resolved the leak without any issue, but the amount charged for a 1 hour job was simply unreasonable!
