I had to call Snyder Air conditioning company out to my house today on a Sunday for services, The AC Technician Jason was friendly and gave detailed information regarding the damage to ac unit. He came within the time window given + service fee was very reasonable for a weekend call, will definitely recommend professionals at Snyder!

I reached out to Snyder to get a second opinion on my A/C that is a year old and had a condenser fan go out. My overall experience was 100% great. Dylan Carter was the technician who came to look at my system. Dylan was a professional and very methodical in his process giving me amplifying information regarding my A/C unit, that I did not otherwise receive from another company. I would recommend working with Snyder over competing A/C companies just from my experience with Dylan. He also got me in touch with his supervisor who was just as involved in the process as he was. I do not have a single issue or negative thing to say about my experience with Snyder! The bar is set very high!

My technician (Adrian) showed up on time and introduced himself because his photo did not proceed his appointment. After we exchanged pleasantries, he went outside and begin the HVAC system check up. Nobody is initially thrilled at the idea of paying $12,000 for an AC replacement. Amy was very kind and professional and helped us make an educated decision to replace our AC unit compared to dumping $2500 worth of R22 into a leaking 26 year old Carrier unit. We are getting set up with a new Trane system next day install. I’ll update this review after the install but I’m very pleased with the customer service so far as I should be on such an expensive purchase.

I would like to amend my previous review. Debbie from Snyder tried very hard to mend this relationship, which I greatly appreciate. However, after agreeing on a price, a misdiagnosis and the credit we were supposed to receive disregarded, I can only increase my review by a few stars. Thank you for all your work Ms. Debbie. After reading the reviews and hearing testimonials from people this company seemed like the best choice, however, our experience has not been positive. Our unit had a condensing coil malfunction, in the middle of August, Snyder came out quoted us, took our payment then told us it would be 3-4 months before our part was available. After learning this I attempted to get our money back and go with a different company who could get the part quicker, but they refused to let us out of the contract. I therefore reached out to Carrier directly and found a way to expedite the part, provided them with all the information and thought they would take care of it, they did not. I followed up the next week and nothing had happened, reached out to Carrier again who reported they hadn’t received anything. So I, the costumer acquired all the information and sent the paperwork to Carrier directly. Part came, under warranty great because it is a $6,000 dollar part on a barely 2 year old unit. BUT…refrigerant is not covered or labor so that will be $1,800. Paid that, even though I personally handled most of the paperwork and actually getting the part. Now we are 6 months out and they came back out to complete maintenance, which took three different technicians before they were able to figure out what needed to be done, and they are telling us our inside coil has a leak and we are expected to pay $1,800 again for refrigerant…Don’t you do a whole system check after replacing a major part? If you are the best in the business, how come you are unorganized and unable to properly complete a job?

Anthony came out to my home yesterday for plumbing. We bought our home a little over a year ago and since have had several professionals out to our home. Anthony was ,by far, the best technician we have ever had out. Extremely polite, respected my home by keeping his work spaces clean and wearing shoe covers. Was very knowledgeable and kept me up to up date on everything he was doing while working. Anthony will be our preferred plumber for services at our home for future needs

Roger, our technician, was great—super friendly, professional, and really thorough. Honestly, he made the whole experience easy and stress-free once he got here. The reason it’s not a five-star review is because the original appointment was set for Monday morning, and… well, nobody showed up. I got a couple of texts saying they were running late, but no real updates or ETA. Eventually had to cancel and reschedule for the next day. I get that delays happen, but it’s a little frustrating to block out half a day, put errands on hold, and then end up with an empty driveway. That said, once things got back on track, Roger totally delivered.

I only know little to basic knowledge of HVAC but he was able to break down the info for me. I know that Snyder has served the jacksonville community for many many years, glad that we contacted them. Every time I have a pleasant experience with this company . All techs are respectful and patient. Company is pricey but I call at 8 am and the tech is at my home 10 am same day . Much needed service on hot days ! Today they cleaned the drains and added a UV light to place inside the machine to prevent mold and bacteria growing inside the blower .

Tech (Kasey Carrier) was very personable and efficient. He kept me advised through the maintenance service process as he performed the many tests and adjustments of the TRANE Heat Pump System. He installed a new UV bulb that was at the end of its 1 year service life. The UV appeared to be very effective in preventing growth of mold/mildew in the coil compartment.

Gyles was my technician today. He was very prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Before entering my home, he was mindful to put shoe covers on . He was very patient in explaining the issue regarding both of my units and addressed the issues within a timely manner. His expert troubleshooting helped identify a problem with an older breaker box that had not been replaced when I got my new unit. This helped to explain why my main breaker kept being tripped which was a seperate issue that I had been having which another Snyder technician ( electrical) was unable to identify during a previous service call. This was the first time that he serviced my units. I wish that he could be my regular technician. Please give this man a raise!! He is awesome!!

I've used Snyder before and have always been pleased but today, they knocked one out of the ballpark - fantastic. It's Friday - 3PM - AC starts blowing hot air. Being deaf, I attempted email scheduling and best I could do was next Tues - not surprised at all by first hot days of Summer have arrived and peak time for AC maintenance. BUT, an hour later, Snyder called - looked like they had something going on and couldn't line anyone up for Tues appointment but if we're home later this afternoon, they could send someone over. They came, they fixed, we're cool again and still amazed by their service and very happy with Snyder.

My air conditioner quit working the other day and while I was with my wife at the hospital a relative made an appointment with a company from the beach to help us and when I got home he showed up and after about 15 minutes told me coils were bad and for $390,00 he would find the but I should buy another unit. After saying no I called the number on the unit for Snyder's which is who I bought it from 8.5 years ago. With the maintenance plan she sent a man out that day. After a long detailed inspection he showed me where there was a leak in the coolant line. Thomas and another worker came out today and after about 4 hours they rerouted the line and had the unit working like new. As a retired Marine Corps Officer I can both identify and respect professionalism and competence. They kept me informed as the work progressed. Thank you Thomas and the office lady that set this up. With my wife on an oxygen machine and warm weather coming I feel good knowing Snyder's will be there if needed and I will only use them in the future for any maintenance needs that they do. Jennifer from Snyder did a great job cleaning my dryer vent on a very hot day! She called to let me know she could come early to my appointment if I wanted, and both she and Paul were friendly, thorough, and professional. She explained the procedure beforehand, and showed me before and after pictures of my vent. The floor was cleaned so well afterward that it looked like she mopped it! VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE with SNYDER and VERY HAPPY with the results. I will use them again in the future!

They were able to schedule quickly. Did a great inspection for $100. Problem is they were 50% higher compared to 4 other companies for quotes. When I asked around, I guess this is a common occurrence. We needed a new Trane system 18 seer, got it installed for $14.5k, Synder wanted $23k. Shop around.

Got a call from my tenant that water was backing up in two bathrooms. They had already called lickety split who told them that there was tree root intrusion underneath the slab of the house that resulted in a break in the pipe and that is why there was a blockage (there are no trees around my house). I tried to reach out to lickity split to get more information, and they were not answering the phone. So I called Snyder, who was able to dispatch within a couple hours of my phone call. Trey showed up, was able to quickly diagnose the problem which was stopped up pipes from something that should not have been flushed down the toilet. He was able to quickly remove it and restore drainage back to the house, and was able to reassure us that the piping system was indeed intact and working fine. Solid work! Will call again for future needs.

We had the pleasure of having the team of Joseph James and Brendan do several hours worth of electrical work at our house today. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Joseph and Brendan explained every step along the way and were always available for questions. We didn’t have enough batteries to cover all the smoke alarms and Joseph spent his own money to buy some for us and refused to allow me to pay him back. We called to have a new circuit installed in our home. This part was fine--we were able to get a timely appointment, our technicians Kyler and Carson were able to do the work the same day, and they did a great job. There was some drywall damage accidentally done to one of our walls during the installation. The techs took responsibility for it and ensured we would be connected to a drywall repair person. This is where I started having problems. No one called me to follow up on this repair. After several days of calling, I was told I could get an appointment in a month, which was a lot later than the two days I was previously told. After some digging someone at Snyder managed to get me an appointment the next week, which I was really grateful for. However, the subcontractor did not show up for the appointment. He then asked me to reschedule, and when my availability for following two days was limited (because the change was last minute) he got snippy with me. When he did arrive, the subcontractor did the drywall repair in under 20 minutes. I must say there is no longer a hole in the wall. But it was just some cursory drywall mud--we will have to sand it and paint it now, and the experience was really not worth our time. This started out as a five star review. And the electrical work we had done was great. But the fact that I had to call for days to get a person to schedule a repair date for the wall was really frustrating. I was told that the people who do the drywall repair are very busy and often overbooked; maybe our repair was reflective of that.

He went above and beyond and assisted in finding my water shut off valve (buried under sod) and moved quick. Considering the only thing he had to do was slip the breakers back on hardly should’ve charged $100. In and out in a matter of minutes, but no complaints with him.
