The technician showed up two hours late. He never went under the house, then told us that there was a lot going on in the unit. He also said that there was an issue with the compressor. He then told me that he spoke to his supervisor and that they couldn’t do anything for me. They stated that they could not get the parts I needed for my AC unit. I called Epic Ac they came out about an hour later. They looked at the unit and the unit was perfectly fine. The technician then went underneath the house and found that it was just a duct that was no longer connected. It took him 10 minutes to fix the duct. If you want honesty and integrity, call Epic Ac. If you wanna be lied straight to your face and taken advantage of call Snyder.

I bought a house 7 years ago from someone who completed a major remodeling project just before the sale. The remodeling included a new AC system from Snyder. At closing, he turned over the documents on the system, including the warranty information which included a 12-year parts warranty. I then contacted Snyder to see about adding a 12-year labor warranty a the suggestion of the seller. The person I spoke to (at Snyder) understood that I had just purchased the home from the person who had just contracted for the new system. Snyder was happy to take my money ($1290.00) for the warranty, assuring me I now had a 12-year parts and labor warranty. I then purchased the annual maintenance plan every year for the last 7 years, paying for the semi-annual servicing to keep the warranty in force. Recently, the system went down, and I called for service. The technician who came to the house told me that I needed a part for around $3000.00 and I did not have a parts warranty since I didn't purchase the system. I understand that the law does not require that warranties be transferrable, but I was assured I was covered under the circumstances in which mine was purchased. Unfortunately, I can't prove what was discussed verbally during a phone call 7 years ago. However, I would not have purchased a $1290.00 labor warranty had I been told that I did not have a parts warranty. I called Snyder and asked to speak with a manager to present my case. My call was not put through to a manager as I requested. Instead, I was told I could email my concerns to the "warranty manager". I exchanged emails 3 times with this person, each time asking to speak to anyone in management. My request to have my concerns heard by a member of management was denied four times - once verbally and three times by email. I then contacted another HVAC company on the recommendation of a friend. The problem was an evaporator coil, which was $1700.00 for the OEM part. The total repair was $3300.00 including parts, coolant and labor for a repair that should have been fully covered. I understand I have no legal recourse with Snyder. I just wanted to have the opportunity to be heard, but nobody cared. I have a new AC company now.

This is my third interaction with Snyder heating and air. David was prompt and called prior to his arrival time. He was very professional, Knowledgeable and friendly. He explained our options and was quick to provide us service. He made sure to check the entire system, not just the repair that he had to make. My only concern was having to pay/rent a temp motor until an original factory motor was ordered and sent. I feel this should fall parts warranty. I’m not sure if the temporary motor is reused or sent back to the manufacturer. True I could have chosen to just wait for the original part, but in 90 plus heat with a work from home job, animals and children this really was no choice at all. I wish the company would issue some type of credit upon the return of the temporary motor with the installation of the manufacturer’s approved part. Again let me say David was fantastic and overall I am satisfied. I am a second generation Snyder customer and it just seems like a little bit of price gouging for the use of the temporary motor. Jermain has been out to our house a few times and he is awesome! He is professional, conscientious and really took the time to address my concerns and explain everything. Jermain answered all my questions (I had a lot!) with patience and humor. He is a very skilled electrician in addition to being kind and friendly. My review of Snyder as a whole is not as good. They do not seem very organized and we had several issues with communication and not receiving return calls. If it had not been for the excellent service we received from Jermain, our review would have been 2 stars.

Exceptionally helpful. I was looking for a reputable hvac company after a poor experience with another. There were zero attempts to upsell. Our tech, Tom offered straight forward solutions that could have been easily complicated for the sake of squeezing more $$ from us. Aiden acame out to give me an estimate to have an electrical panel moved out of a very old building that is about to collapse. I have been a little anxious about the safety of whoever will be doing this project, but Aiden came up with a plan and I feel much better. He arrived on time and was very professional and courteous.

I went to Snyder because I had a bad experience with Home Shield. I had hoped it would be a better experience but appears not. Since I have had my new AC installed I have had an tech out here five times and lost over a week of work hours trying to get my AC fixed. Having to spend so much money on a new unit, I wonder how their leadership would handle this. The technicians are very friendly but it is insane to have so many problems. Today I spent $170 for a surge protector that I feel should have already been on the system in the beginning smh.

Our tech Martin Ebanks, was professional, friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The only negative comment has nothing to do with Martin but I feel each time they come out, they are always recommending a new service and the price seems high after I check to see how much the parts cost.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Had a technician come to the house for a free estimate. He told us how much it would cost and what was wrong. Tried to get financing, but was denied. Then the technician says we need to pay 100 for the estimate!! He didn't even do anything and yet wants us to Pay 100 for a free estimate! Horrible service!!!
