Steve arrived on time and was patient me being a few minutes late myself. I gave him the light I needed mounted just outside my front door. The whole process only took about 30-45 minutes and the new light looks great! My only complaint would be the sticker shock I got afterwards - $230 just to change out a light fixture. I do recommend him, but just know the charge can be a bit much.

I need to have a chandelier installed as the flush mount light that was currently in place was just not doing it for me. My technician Marty was exceptional. He was extremely professional, very communicative and a pleasure to work with. I had many questions about the installation, which he answered completely and with great patience. So you can only leave one review per company. And that sucks because Snyder does a lot of work in different areas. So I'm just adding to this review. Just had Carlton at my house for a few hours working on some plumbing. I seem to fancy myself, quite the DIYer, but the reality is everything should be taken out of my hand that resembles a tool or that has any kind of power. Carlton had to come and help remedy a lot of projects I had done around the house. He was extremely knowledgeable, very courteous and a great communicator. He made me feel very confident in making the right choice with Snyder. Hands-down, the best AC plumbing company at the beach. Carlton needs a raise. Just saying,

We needed an electrician to come out to check on a light switch. Josh came to our house and replaced the switch for us quickly and the cost was reasonable. Snyder was very responsive to my initial inquiry and was flexible with scheduling. I would recommend using them if you need anything electrical one in your home.

Don’t feel like a trust worthy company. Recommend rewiring the house, which was done in 2020. Didn’t even check before recommending it, clearly just looking to make more money out of lying/ tricking people. Christopher was very polite and worked quickly, however. Wouldn’t use again, it’s not comforting knowing someone is just trying to get another couple hundred dollars out of you for an already extremely expensive service. Also hung out light knowing it was broken and didn’t mention that until after hanging out so I don’t feel that I can trust that it was actually broken. Would have been appropriate to mention upon taking it out of the box so that we could return it and get our money back, who hangs a broken light? They do not work diligently, they work quickly to get to the next thousand dollar appointment they can get to

Steve did an excellent job replacing an out of date smoke detector and installing 3 additional detectors. He explained how how they operated and the longevity of the batteries. Steve also replaced old fluorescent lights with new LED tubes. The lighting in these areas have improved 200% and none of that annoying humming fluorescent lights are famous for. Good job, Steve!! We will definitely reach out to Snyder for any future repairs or additions.

I called Snyder late in the afternoon and the technician Joe was at my door in less than two hours. He was very professional and respectful. He found a couple of issues that I wasn't aware of. He double checked his work and cleaned up after himself. It was an overall great experience. It's nice to see people who actually care about their job. I would definitely recommend using Snyder for your AC issues. Update: I had the whole outside unit replaced. Charlie & Glenn did a fantastic job. Very polite and professional. I was blown away on how quickly they worked together getting the old unit replaced. The Electrician Christopher Burger, did a thorough inspection and had to replace some wires to bring it to code. They all cleaned up after themselves and you couldn't even tell they were there.

So far so good. Had Zach out for estimate on new hot water heater installation and moving from laundry room to garage. Also for moving air handler to garage. Will update when job is complete. UPDATE Thursday June 15 2023: OUTSTANDING! So glad we went with Snyder Plumbing. Zach and Miguel showed up on time, they were very professional/courtious, and the attention to detail on the hot water install was amazing. We will use Snyder Plumbing for any all future needs. I highly recommend! Great job by Zach and Miguel. Update 9/25/23. Had a plumbing emergency and had secure water to the house. Called Synder and spoke to Christin(?) Who was very professional and understanding especially early Sunday morning. She schedule Randy for 0800 Monday morning, yes he was early. Explained what had happened and immediately began repairs. They were able to start working the same day they came out to quote me. Snyder has competent, smart technicians, and offer fair pricing. I would recommend Snyder for contracting, and try to get Justin and Conan to do your electrical work.

Jermain answered all my questions (I had a lot!) with patience and humor. He is a very skilled electrician in addition to being kind and friendly. My review of Snyder as a whole is not as good. They do not seem very organized and we had several issues with communication and not receiving return calls. If it had not been for the excellent service we received from Jermain, our review would have been 2 stars.

I am a widow and single Mom, I recently found out that there was not so safe electrical wiring in my home. I called several pros to get estimates and options. When I spoke with Synder Co the man sounded like he could not be bothered, I sent 3 other companies my inspection report and my concerns. The very day of the appointment with Synder he told me there is nothing they could do, so I wasted a day off work. I had not sent them the report nor had he even gone to look to give me an estimate and he did not even call me back as he had to talk with a manager. Now several weeks later I have 3 companies with great options and reasonable prices. Why did I waste my time and off work with this Synder who I got off Angis list. I do not recommend Synder Co for any jobs to be done at your home

Gyles was my technician today. He was very prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Before entering my home, he was mindful to put shoe covers on . He was very patient in explaining the issue regarding both of my units and addressed the issues within a timely manner. His expert troubleshooting helped identify a problem with an older breaker box that had not been replaced when I got my new unit. This helped to explain why my main breaker kept being tripped which was a seperate issue that I had been having which another Snyder technician ( electrical) was unable to identify during a previous service call. This was the first time that he serviced my units. I wish that he could be my regular technician. Please give this man a raise!! He is awesome!!

We called to have a new circuit installed in our home. This part was fine--we were able to get a timely appointment, our technicians Kyler and Carson were able to do the work the same day, and they did a great job. There was some drywall damage accidentally done to one of our walls during the installation. The techs took responsibility for it and ensured we would be connected to a drywall repair person. This is where I started having problems. No one called me to follow up on this repair. After several days of calling, I was told I could get an appointment in a month, which was a lot later than the two days I was previously told. After some digging someone at Snyder managed to get me an appointment the next week, which I was really grateful for. However, the subcontractor did not show up for the appointment. He then asked me to reschedule, and when my availability for following two days was limited (because the change was last minute) he got snippy with me. When he did arrive, the subcontractor did the drywall repair in under 20 minutes. I must say there is no longer a hole in the wall. But it was just some cursory drywall mud--we will have to sand it and paint it now, and the experience was really not worth our time. This started out as a five star review. And the electrical work we had done was great. But the fact that I had to call for days to get a person to schedule a repair date for the wall was really frustrating. I was told that the people who do the drywall repair are very busy and often overbooked; maybe our repair was reflective of that.

Great response time! This company came out, gave me a quote, & were scheduled to complete the job within a week. Very young, but knowledgable & hard working staff! Installed two outside outlets & an additional one in my garage. Made sure to clean up after themselves & were overall very friendly!

I don’t usually post reviews but I felt it was necessary to hopefully keep people from getting taken advantage of by Snyder. I had them come look at my electrical panel. The technician arrived and said it needed to be replaced. He was quick to provide an estimate. It came in at $4900. I knew this was an inflated estimate. I told him I knew this was too much and had him leave. He said for the pleasure of him giving me this outrageous estimate I would need to pay 100 dollars for this extensive ten minute service call. I did agree to pay to get Snyder off my property. A friend recommended I call American electric. They were able to diagnose the problem, yes I did need the panel replaced. But they would do it for $3250. Well Snyder, how do you justify your price. Everyone who reads this, please don’t call the these scammers. They only plan on ripping you off!

Dominick beyond exceeded expectations! He was professional, efficient and great at communicating what was needed and what was happening. He completely replaced my breaker box and threw a 50 amp line to my backyard. He stood within his projected timeframe. My only complaint would be he works too hard and I don’t think I even saw him blink or take a break. He thoroughly explained what everything was in a way I could understand without feeling dumb. He even cleaned up after himself, I expected dust or residue left because it was a large job and there was no clean up. I would not only recommend Snyder I would enthusiastically recommend him.

This is the first time I used their service (electrical). I was very pleased and impressed. The day for the electrician to arrive, I received a text message, that included a picture of the electrician, to advise me that he was in his way. About 20 minutes later, I received a telephone call from the electrician advising the approximate time if his arrival to my home. When he arrived, he covered his shoes so he would not soil my carpet. The electrician had a very good attitude, identified my problem and clearly explained to me what needed to be done. Clearly explained all the other services the company provides. I will use their services again. Today is October 21, 2024- The service provided by the technician was excellent. Very pleased with his services. He reconnected my chandelier in my dining room and placed the crystals om the chandelier. I truly did not expect that he would replace the crystals. My chandelier looks beautiful. He was very patient in doing what he had to do. I'm deeply appreciate his excellent service. I believe he is a valued employee and cares about the type service he provides the customer.

Keith Stock came out and did a thorough check of my A/C unit both inside and outside of the house. He was able to find the issue and show me what was causing the problem. He did a great job explaining my options and what he felt was the best path forward. He was both professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him as the go to guy in the future. Glenn McMillan was the installer who came out to perform the work the following day. He knew exactly what it would take to get the install complete and even finished within 30 minutes of the time he quoted me. He kept me informed while he was at the house and walked me through the use of the equipment at the end. I think he did a great job and would gladly have him come out and perform any additional maintenance / servicing to the system going forward Travis Hicks came out once the installation was done to replace my circuit breaker. The new unit called for a larger capacity breaker. He knocked the work out quickly and walked me through what was done. He answered a few question I had related to the surge protection before he left. I was very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to call Snyder again for any repair / service requests that come up.

I just had my Electrical Panel replaced in my home. From the time that I inquired about an estimate to the installation completion was about a week. Unbelievable! Very professional, very knowledgeable, Great quality. Went from a 16 breaker panel to 40 breaker panel with surge protection and 50A generator hookup with lockout switch. Dustin showed up when promised on Tuesday and was very knowledgeable answering all my questions during the estimate and Mikey was there on Friday for the install.
