Dana installed a toilet. He did excellent work. Very meticulous and detailed. He was pleasant, worked hard and thoroughly cleaned up the job site. I am installing two more toilets and have specifically requested Dana for those jobs also. Since I purchased my own toilet from Home Depot, the price only included parts and labor.

Assured us unit would fit our closet space. It didn't. Now, we're left with unit sticking outside closet, the door removed so they could work won't fit back on without construction add-on, and the unit itself has an AC filter so difficult to replace, we have to lie down on the floor like we're changing the oil filter in a car, and prop the flap in which it goes, open, to get replacement filters in slot. We've played phone tag, and Schneider just shrugs. We got an estimate from a handiman for $900 to build out the frame and replace the door he'll have to modify so the unit can suck air from the door bottom. Also, took installers 3 hours longer to install than time estimated by salesman. Finally, installers relocated the digital thermostat from the office, where it worked reliably, to the kitchen, so now, when we're cooking, the AC reads the higher temperature, and kicks in to compensate costing us more, not less, in our electric bills. We're extremely displeased with Snyder, Buckhalter, or whatever they're called, and will take our business elsewhere in future. We can't say enough bad about them. We paid $14,000 for THIS.

Joe was on time and installed a UV lamp in the handler to get rid of fungus growing in it and replaced weak capacitor on compressor motor. This was an outstanding experience with a seasoned professional, the skill knowledge of the old piping that was busted on the outside of the house. He knew what to do and made it up. He put in a state of the art piece of pipe that has ability to flex different temperatures, and then he came in and checked everything once we turned the main waterline on and very very professional truck tools dress, and he was working long hours because of the freeze.

Recently had Bobby James and Matt Steele install a new Ac unit in our southside home. They did a great job installing the unit in a tough location on the second floor all while working around our dogs who were eager to help. When it came time to start the unit up with multiple zones and thermostats they brought in the electronic guys on short notice who had the new unit doing exactly what we wanted and didn't leave until it was doing so. I’m sharing this so other homeowners are aware of how Snyder handles their diagnostic promises. I paid $518 for an emergency service with the understanding that a camera inspection was included to find the cause of my backup. The inspection was even scheduled as a follow-up, but it was never performed. Instead of completing the diagnostic, the 2nd technician provided a quote for over $3,000 in services, including hydro-jetting and a new cleanout. When I spoke to a manager to get the original camera inspection rescheduled, I was told they wouldn't do the camera work unless I first approved the $3,000+ jetting service. It feels like the camera inspection I already paid for was being held hostage unless I agreed to a major upsell. I sent a formal email to Synder to resolve this privately and received a response of the $3000+ invoice. They are trying to take advantage of customers and offer expensive repairs without any diagnostic confirmation.

Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric in Jacksonville, Florida. The Snyder Plumbing department of the business is a Terrible, unprofessional company Branch. They sold me a brand new Water Softener installed it, then came back five months later and said there was a problem with the softener, and they were doing a company recall. I asked for a refund being they took away the Water Softener I paid for in full, and they said they would get back to me. It has been over six months now. I have made multiple calls regarding this issue every month since they took away the Water Softener, to resolve this, and they are still giving me the runaround, and not trying to work with me. I am still paying for the house loan that I got for the ten thousand dollar plus Water Softener and they have not refunded me or done anything to fix the issue. They are a terrible, terrible, poorly ran, unprofessional company and I would suggest everyone stay far away from them. I'm filing a lawsuit this coming Monday against them.

Our heater went out in the middle of the night during the recent freeze (2026). Next morning I called around to a few places to see who could come out to fix it. Everyone said tomorrow. Except Snyder. They were slammed due to the freeze, but they had someone out at 6pm that same day, with the Diagnostic Fee waved. The Technician, Stephen Hammett, was just as incredible. He spent an hour and a half rewiring the board of our Heat Pump, as the strips and refrigeration unit were not working together. He then helped look in the attic at the ductwork and answered all of my detailed questions effortlessly and enthusiastically. He most definitely went above and beyond, and then after all that, he only charged us for the maintenance of rewiring the board. Extremely, extremely good experience! I proceeded to purchase their yearly maintenance plan because of the way Stephen explained it, answered my probing questions about it, and the outstanding service all around, from the time I called the dispatcher that day, until Stephen was finished fixing our unit. From this experience, I can see why their mascot is a superhero. They definitely saved our day! Thanks Snyder!

I lost power and thought JEA would handle it, but it turned out to be an issue on my end. Snyder Electric sent out Ricky N., and he was incredible. He was kind, professional, and made sure I received a military discount. What really stood out was how hard he pushed to get everything fixed today instead of leaving me without power overnight. It was one of the coldest days we’ve had he even said it felt colder inside my house than outside and he made sure I wasn’t stuck like that.
