On August 23, 2024 Snyder Air Conditioning serviced my system with routine maintenance and installed a UV system for $535. Their total bill was $1,064. When a supervisor reviewed my invoice he acknowledged an overcharge amount of $399. He sent a request to customer service and it took them over a month to process my refund. Eventually after multiple phone calls they processed my refund in October 2024. The UV system has already stopped working. I think you should consider my disappointing experience with Snyder before asking them to work on your system.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Savannah Roberts from Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric, and I couldn’t be more impressed!! Savannah quickly diagnosed, identified, and fixed my HVAC issue with a level of professionalism and expertise that truly stood out. She took the time to explain the problem in a clear and friendly way, made sure I understood the solution, and had everything up and running again in no time. It’s rare to find a technician who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. He explained what our options were for the repair or replacement of our garbage disposal. We chose to replace the garbage disposal based on his expertise and advice. Called Snyder services spoke to David for a plumbing issue. He provided me with an appointment for TODAY: unheard of in today’s fast paced society. He dispatched Mr. Carlton Smith who performed an amazing removal and replacement of deficient toilet components. Extremely professional and courteous. He explained in detail what he was doing should I had any questions. Absolutely genuine courteous and extremely knowledgeable plumber. Mr. Carlton was ahead of schedule and completed the job quickly. Totally satisfied with his work and recommendations. Thanks Mr. Carlton for a job extremely well done.

I have had 2 great experiences with Snyder from the initial use of their services to the maintenance plan and with the office staff. Recently had my free maintenance clean for my AC unit and Redi was fantastic, very warm, professional, and provided process information, and educational insight on my system and recommended services that may help address any ongoing or potential concerns. Redi was extremely helpful in checking on a leak issue that could have been from the AC duct coming from the ceiling and checked it out throughly. I appreciate his refreshing approach to customer care. I plan to continue to use Snyder for ongoing services.

He is the reason we decided to switch our service contract and invested in the suggested systems to improve our air quality. Excellent experience! Later Marcus came to do the vent cleaning and he was so nice and made sure we were comfortable with everything that he and his assistant were doing! Good experience Today Billie came to check the electrical in our house. Very nice young man and very knowledgeable and helpful. He was thorough with his inspection and answered all questions for us and also gave us some written information about our plan which was most helpful.

Joseph provided a lot of detailed information on issues that were not addressed or made worse by my previous heat pump service, McCall/Waychoff. I consistently paid for twice a year maintenance including add ons for mold from a well known large local service. Now I have been informed that I was basically ripped off over the last five years. I appreciate Joseph educating me on the issues. Unfortunately it is going to cost me and my family a lot of money to get this addressed adequately. I am more than upset at being consistently ripped off in this area by so called reputable services. It really is a big problem in the Jacksonville area. I am hoping my experience with Snyder will be significantly better going forward. If it’s not, I will be sure to update my review.

Dakota came out and helped me troubleshoot a light which I had wired myself and was turning off due to what he determined was a photocell issue (user error). Electric wire for garage door needed replacement. For a half hour repair the $214 service charge was too high. Josh did a good job but the price for repairs was unfair.

Bryce went across town to get the parts, installed in the rain and installed the UV light so I should not experience this issue in the future. We have always used Snyder and we will continue.

Update 11/6/2025: Kadarryl and Anthony came to take care of a sweaty register and an inspection. They were on time and courteous. They made an adjustment to my air handler and performed some maintenance on the unit. I am happy with their service and I will continue to use and recommend Snyder. Update 3/27/2025: Marcus and his team came to install insulation in the attic. They were on time, professional, and personable. I appreciate how Marcus's team was willing to the little things to make the experience more meaningful for their customer. If you need insulation, don't hesitate to call Snyder and ask for Marcus. Update on 3/24/2025: Amy and the installation crew showed up on the job at 8 AM sharp. AJ and his installation team a magnificent job doing the install. They were very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. If you need to do an install, ask for AJ and his team to do your install. You will be pleased. Amy was professional, personable, and very easy to work with. She knows her business and was able to answer all of my questions and get me setup with a great system. If you call Snyder, ask for Amy to come out. You will not be disappointed.

Steve did an excellent job replacing an out of date smoke detector and installing 3 additional detectors. He explained how how they operated and the longevity of the batteries. Steve also replaced old fluorescent lights with new LED tubes. The lighting in these areas have improved 200% and none of that annoying humming fluorescent lights are famous for. Good job, Steve!! We will definitely reach out to Snyder for any future repairs or additions.

Bryce Rodriguez repaired our frozen A/C quickly. He then thoroughly tested the cool air and the heat to make sure all was working. He showed me before and after pictures of all the work he completed. He then took a few minutes to show me some basic maintenance steps I could take to help prevent the problem from repeating. He was very helpful the entire time, and we appreciate him!

I called Snyder late in the afternoon and the technician Joe was at my door in less than two hours. He was very professional and respectful. He found a couple of issues that I wasn't aware of. He double checked his work and cleaned up after himself. It was an overall great experience. It's nice to see people who actually care about their job. I would definitely recommend using Snyder for your AC issues. Update: I had the whole outside unit replaced. Charlie & Glenn did a fantastic job. Very polite and professional. I was blown away on how quickly they worked together getting the old unit replaced. The Electrician Christopher Burger, did a thorough inspection and had to replace some wires to bring it to code. They all cleaned up after themselves and you couldn't even tell they were there.

I recently had family in town that stayed for a week. Unfortunately their last day here my plumbing went out in one of my full baths and we had to share the remaining one. Fortunately, however, I had the pleasure of working with Charles and my plumbing issues were resolved with an hour! Charles was so professional and explained everything that needed to be done and gave a step by step status update throughout the process! UPDATE Thursday June 15 2023: OUTSTANDING! So glad we went with Snyder Plumbing. Zach and Miguel showed up on time, they were very professional/courtious, and the attention to detail on the hot water install was amazing. We will use Snyder Plumbing for any all future needs. I highly recommend! Great job by Zach and Miguel. Update 9/25/23. Had a plumbing emergency and had secure water to the house. Called Synder and spoke to Christin(?) Who was very professional and understanding especially early Sunday morning. She schedule Randy for 0800 Monday morning, yes he was early. Explained what had happened and immediately began repairs.
