I recently had an issue with my home air conditioning system and contacted Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric late in the afternoon. To my surprise and appreciation, they scheduled a service call for the very next morning. Their technician, Savannah, was absolutely outstanding. Savannah arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and immediately got to work diagnosing the problem. She carefully checked the air handler, compressor, and thermostat as part of her troubleshooting process. It turned out that a power surge the previous day had reset the thermostat. Once Savannah reprogrammed it, our system was back up and running perfectly—just like new. It’s rare to see such quick response, expert knowledge, and friendly service all in one visit. I highly recommend Snyder for any HVAC needs and want to extend a special thanks to Savannah for her exceptional service and professionalism.

The technician was great but no fix was performed and we got charged for a diagnostic fee without any estimates. Another technician showed up Monday and diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate for no charge. I understand the dispatch fee for a Sunday but not happy about the extra diagnostic fee instead of an estimate.

Called for service on Friday morning and was given a time of slot 10am-2pm. They pushed the appointment all day because they are behind schedule. At the end of the day majority of the technicians are sick. They promised to come out 1st thing Saturday morning. Saturday morning is here and now they want to push the appointment again. If you can't perform the job just say that instead of having a customer clingy to hope that you guys are going to show up.

I went to Snyder because I had a bad experience with Home Shield. I had hoped it would be a better experience but appears not. Since I have had my new AC installed I have had an tech out here five times and lost over a week of work hours trying to get my AC fixed. Having to spend so much money on a new unit, I wonder how their leadership would handle this. The technicians are very friendly but it is insane to have so many problems. Today I spent $170 for a surge protector that I feel should have already been on the system in the beginning smh.

We’ve been using Snyder for over a decade and they never disappoint. Today’s technicians Adam & Justin were amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly and broke every down in terms we could understand. And as always they never try to push unnecessary stuff on us. As long as they are in business we’ll keep going to Snyder
