Poor Service and Broken Promises - Elderly Customers Left in Dangerous Heat Rating: ⭐ (1/5 stars) I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents who have been failed by this company in the most unacceptable way possible. My parents, both in their 80s, have been without air conditioning for over a month during one of Florida's hottest summers on record, with temperatures reaching 90+ degrees daily. On June 14th, the technician assessed the unit and assured us that a needed part would arrive within 7-14 days. It has now been over a month, and the part still hasn't arrived. When we call for updates, we get vague responses and empty promises about "checking on the order." This is poor customer service. We need action immediately!

John was super fast at diagnosing the cause of the electrical socket fire, trouble shot connected sockets, and trip switches, rewired a paddle fan, put in an electric doorbell. Excellent!

My technician was curtious, efficient and did an amazing job repairing the issue. I would highly recommend Snyder for your future needs.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris Tomberlin from Snyder Plumbing to install a water filter in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Chris is a true professional in his field, and his expertise was evident from start to finish. From the moment they arrived, I was impressed with his friendly demeanor. He took the time to explain the installation process to me, addressing any questions or concerns I had. This demonstrated their commitment to excellent customer service. The installation itself was carried out with precision and care. Chris made sure that the water filter was properly installed and fully functional. He also took the time to ensure that there were no leaks or issues with the plumbing connections. What I appreciated most was his attention to detail and the cleanliness of his work. When he left, it was as if they were never there, except for the perfectly installed water filter. I am thrilled with the results, and the water in my home now tastes and feels significantly better. I highly recommend Snyder to anyone in need of plumbing services. Their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to providing top-notch service are truly commendable. Thank you, Chris, for a job well done!

UPDATE: Snyder has remedied these issues. To their credit, they take customer feedback very seriously. Thank you, Snyder! My parents have been lifelong customers of this company and loved supporting a local family owned business. However, we have witnessed a marked deterioration of customer service since the business was acquired by another company. What has become clear since then is that customer needs and best interests are no longer a priority, only corporate profit is. Let me share our story: Snyder installed a new hot water heater, electrical panel and water filtration system. These were not cheap. We then began to experience very low water pressure throughout the house. You can’t shower while the dishwasher is going. You can’t brush your teeth if the laundry is running. We asked Snyder to come investigate and were told they won’t come out unless we sign up for their yearly maintenance package. So we did. A Snyder plumber came out, took a quick look, and without conducting any water pressure tests, simply told us we need to replace all our plumbing, even though our plumbing is brand new. My parents are retired and can’t afford that. We were also understandably skeptical. Someone from the city then came out to test the water coming from the street to the house to see if that was the culprit. It was not. The water pressure continued to plummet so we called Snyder again. This time a very honest Snyder plumber came out and admitted that whoever from Snyder that installed the water filtration system cut corners and did not install it correctly. It wasn’t even in the right place. He came up with a plan to remedy the situation, which would require the system to be removed, reinstalled and all the filters to be replaced, but at no cost to us because none of this was our fault. This plumber was then fired. He refused to sell us services or products we didn’t need, and refused to make us pay for the company’s mistake, and he lost his job for it. It has been weeks now and still no resolution. We are shopping for a new local family owned business to support in the hopes they will support us, and just not corporate greed. Shame on you, Snyder. Do better.
