I was a customer of Buckhalter Air Conditioning for years and received excellent service from them. In May, my ac was blowing cool, not cold air. I called Snyder, who I understand purchased Buckhalter, and the technician added coolant. The ac blew cold for a couple of weeks, then went back to blowing cool, almost warm air. I paid $440.00 for 2 weeks of cold air. I subsequently called a different ac company. The technician added coolant, cleared the drain, and it has been blowing cold air since that visit. They even charged less.

Matt and partner were very courteous and professional in replacing my old ac to a new one. I am very pleased with the work they did. I would like to thank Matt especially for going above and beyond in making sure we knew how new system works.

German was polite and prompt. However, I feel we were taken advantage of by unrealistically high prices. A new thermostat costs $40 & 10 minutes labor, yet we were charged over $400. When confronted, German said he couldn’t call his office for an explanation on the high labor cost. We will not use this company for any of our houses.

Called Snyder services spoke to David for a plumbing issue. He provided me with an appointment for TODAY: unheard of in today’s fast paced society. He dispatched Mr. Carlton Smith who performed an amazing removal and replacement of deficient toilet components. Extremely professional and courteous. He explained in detail what he was doing should I had any questions. Absolutely genuine courteous and extremely knowledgeable plumber. Mr. Carlton was ahead of schedule and completed the job quickly. Totally satisfied with his work and recommendations. Thanks Mr. Carlton for a job extremely well done.

Overall, the plumber was good and knowledgeable. However: was running behind on the 10am-2pm appointment window and I didn’t receive a call until 2:45 that they were going to be there in about a half hour. Luckily I didn’t have much going on that day. I laid out the 3 issues that were all in my master bath, figured they’d be relatively easy fixes. His and her sinks were having some minor leakage underneath, master toilet supply line had a minor leak, and master shower wasn’t getting hot like it used to. Immediately he said the sink issues were most likely the supply valves and needed to be replaced. Said that would be about $500, which seemed way more than I’d think. Next issue was just the supply line to the master toilet needed a better quality one. $65 for the new supply line. Then the shower cartridge needed to have a small manufacturer setting adjustment. He did that adjustment for free, but said a new cartridge and install would be $650 (I had just replaced it for $30 at Home Depot). Then pointed out that the p trap needed to be replaced, $200 for that. All said and done: $760 for a little over an hour of work. Kicker was that I noticed one of the sinks were still leaking that same evening. Called back the next day and was told it is probably just the faucet that needed to be replaced. I had already bought 2 new faucets just in case that was the issue so they’d be able to replace them for me. Was quoted $420 PER FAUCET to be installed. Must be some crazy labor charges since I was supplying the hardware. I thought that was outrageous, and installed them both myself in less than an hour. That’s what really fixed the leak issue. Nice people but just way overpriced in my opinion.
