First, the positive, The four employees I met were pleasant and the electrical connections were done to code . Second the negatives, Dewayne and Andre came late in the morning took and a two hour lunch. Afterwards the lead electrician sat in his car for an hour, while his apprentice tried to do work, he did not have the capability to do. They did not carry enough electrical supplies in their truck to complete the job in one day. You can see from the photographs that the pro/trans box was put in unlevel. In the other photos you can see the install of the two hanging lamps was not properly attached to the cable that supports the lighting from the ceiling. In the last photo, you can see how I fixed it. When they came out to do the original estimate, I told them the type of generator I had so that I could install a system to use it through my electric panel. I also showed the electrician on the day of the install the type of generator I was using. After everything was installed, and the electrician showed me how everything was going to work it turned out my generator does not work with the system they chose to install. That means I need to sell my generator now and buy a new one because of their mistake. After spending the entire day, he blamed my hanging light fixtures for the reason he had to come back a second day to finish the installation. This is after they spent six hours of actual work time when it should’ve according to another electrician, I talked to taken three hours. Last, but not least the lead electrician cursed under his breath repeatedly loud enough for us to hear from the other side of the room. Finally got a generator that would work with the system they installed and the installation of the back up generator wiring panel was incorrectly done we went without electricity for four hours, waiting for Snyder electric to come back out. Mark Sallette Came out and fixed and repaired what the previous electricians broke and badly installed. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would give Mark a five out of five stars. I would change my rating overall if Snyder Electric did something to reward my wife and I for the unprofessional behavior of the previous electricians and their shabby work. Such as a minimum of a $100 gift certificate at a local restaurant to pay for my time and frustration level.

My husband and I had previously used Snyder for a plumbing issue. This time we had selected Snyder for our A/C issue, as we were not satisfied with United Air Temp (who had installed and serviced our previous HVAC system).Eric was pleasant and efficient when he had installed our new system today. I would recommend Snyder as this company continues to provide excellent customer service!

Cody arrived early and fixed my initial problem quickly and was super friendly in explaining a better and more safe way to do it next time. He also took time to answer a few additional questions and concerns I had for some other things that I thought may need attention soon. He was informative, personable, and courteous. Snyder will NEVER get my business again! They charge a dispatch fee that does not include a full diagnostic of the issue. Then their tech Aiden Tavenner refused to leave the property before he was paid. Professionalism at its poorest! Perhaps he would not have been so bold with a male. Regardless, poor customer service, prices, and still don’t have a working AC unit!!!!
